Our team advised Mushlabs GmbH on a strategic cooperation with Bitburger Braugruppe GmbH. The goal of the collaboration is to produce mushroom-based meat alternatives through fermentation, by using existing infrastructure and upcycling byproducts from beer production.
The startup Mushlabs is a biotech company using fermentation to create sustainable foods from mycelium, the roots of mushrooms. Bitburger Braugruppe is one of the leading brewery groups in Germany.
