Data processing on LinkedIn
We operate a page on the platform 'LinkedIn' (linkedin.com or mobile app).
In doing so, the data is processed by us and by LinkedIn, for which we have concluded the following agreement: https://legal.linkedin.com/dpa/DE
If you are a resident in the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland, the LinkedIn controller is LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, based in Ireland.
LinkedIn as the provider of the platform assumes the data protection obligations towards you as the user, such as the information on data processing and is the contact for your rights. This follows from the fact that the respective provider has direct access to the relevant information and the processing of your data. However, you are also welcome to contact us if this should become necessary and we will then forward the request to LinkedIn if necessary. In this context, LinkedIn provides, among other things, the following online contact option for contacting their data protection officer: https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/ask/TSO-DPO
When using LinkedIn, data may also be processed outside the EU. The LinkedIn Corporation and its US subsidiaries process data in the US and are each certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield agreement, thus guaranteeing compliance with a level of data protection equivalent to that in the EU (for more information see: https://www.privacyshield.gov). In many cases, LinkedIn continues to use standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission as a legal instrument for data transfers from the European Union.
With our LinkedIn page we can communicate with you and provide interesting information. In doing so, we may receive further data from you via your comments, shared images, messages and reactions, which we then process to respond to or communicate with you. If you use LinkedIn on multiple devices, a cross-device analysis of the data may take place. Furthermore, the LinkedIn provider may use cookies and tracking technologies to analyze and improve the service.
Data processing is carried out with your consent or for the purpose of using the LinkedIn offer (Art. 6 para. 1 p.1 lit. a., b. DSGVO) or on the basis of legitimate interests in improving the offer, advertising/marketing activities and external presentation (Art. 6 para. 1 p.1 lit. f. DSGVO).
