Studio Legal is delighted to share that our client decarbon1ze GmbH has reached a fundamental milestone. In collaboration with transmission system operator 50Hertz Transmission GmbH, the Berlin DSO Stromnetz Berlin GmbH they are operating a virtual distribution system to bring the monetization of flexible behind-the-meter assets to a new level - starting with EVs that are supplied by LichtBlick SE.
Drivers can choose their own supplier, who delivers directly through existing charging infrastructure. When charging at home, the electricity supply of the EV can be separated from the household bill. Among others this allows an elegant solution to supply a company fleet EV that is charged at home while the respective bill goes directly to the fleet manager or bring your own supplier or PV rooftop electricity to work.
