Our Team has advised Berlin based life science start-up on its extended pre-Series A financing round.
The company received EUR 2 million from the investor GPS Ventures.
BIOMES uses state-of-the-art biotechnological methods to examine bacteria that live in and on the human body. The intestinal flora self-test – which was released as the first product 2018 - is now being marketed and sold internationally. During the pandemic year 2020, BIOMES also demonstrated the flexibility of its proprietary technology platform. Within a very short time, the start-up set up a COVID-19 test track which has already been used to process thousands of corona samples from Berlin und Brandenburg.
BIOMES has been advised by André Eggert and Sohrab Beheshtipour (both Venture Capital).
